The staff are great! Dr. Harris is very competent and concerned about doing the best for you. I have had very good results in the past. I will keep coming back. I had a major procedure today and I’ll have to let you see how that one goes.

Staff and scheduling

Dr Harris is the most competent and caring physician that I have ever gone to. He has a very professional and courteous staff that really cares and takes good care of you.

Doctor explained things

Dr. Harris has been treating me for the last 8 years. He is very competent and very down to Earth. He is great about explaining different treatments and how they will benefit long term health. I highly recommend CHARM.

Reported improvement

If you’re able to… Run, don’t walk, to Dr. Harris! I’ve been getting PRP injections with him for 5+ years now. I drive two hours and I’m sore for a while after, but it’s worth every penny.

Ask before you book

A clinic that answers these clearly is a different proposition from one that deflects. Take the list with you.

  1. 1Which specific product do you use, and is it my own tissue or a purchased donor product?
  2. 2Is it being used as a 361 HCT/P, or under an FDA investigational new drug application?
  3. 3Who performs the injection: the physician of record, or a PA or nurse practitioner?
  4. 4What is the total cost, and what happens if a second treatment is needed?
  5. 5What outcome data do you keep on your own patients for my specific condition?
  6. 6How many of these have you done for this indication, and what does a poor result look like?

What it is likely to cost

David K. Harris, MD has not published pricing, which is true of almost every clinic in this category. Insurance almost never covers the injection itself, though the consultation, imaging and any conventional treatment in the same visit often are covered.

Ask for the total in writing, including whether a second injection is billed separately, and ask for the CPT codes so you can check coverage yourself before you commit.
