Dr. Jones provided excellent care for my 74 year old knees. After a career on ladders I was in need of help. With stem cell injections and platelet replacement my knees are remarkably improved. After 12 weeks I hardly think of my knees.

Reported improvement

Dr. Jones is awesome! I was in a car accident over the summer and suffered from a bad concussion and neck pain.

Doctor explained things

Dr. Jones is amazing! He is an extremely kind, empathetic human who was very attentive to my needs and sets aside the time to listen.

The office itself

I am in the process of getting PRP and trigger point injections. I am hopeful I will see relief soon. Dr. Jones is highly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients.

Ask before you book

A clinic that answers these clearly is a different proposition from one that deflects. Take the list with you.

  1. 1Which specific product do you use, and is it my own tissue or a purchased donor product?
  2. 2Is it being used as a 361 HCT/P, or under an FDA investigational new drug application?
  3. 3Who performs the injection: the physician of record, or a PA or nurse practitioner?
  4. 4What is the total cost, and what happens if a second treatment is needed?
  5. 5What outcome data do you keep on your own patients for my specific condition?
  6. 6How many of these have you done for this indication, and what does a poor result look like?

What it is likely to cost

Active Pain Relief & Wellness has not published pricing, which is true of almost every clinic in this category. Insurance almost never covers the injection itself, though the consultation, imaging and any conventional treatment in the same visit often are covered.

Ask for the total in writing, including whether a second injection is billed separately, and ask for the CPT codes so you can check coverage yourself before you commit.
