Dr. Osborn is absolutely amazing, I have suffered with migraines for years. I tried Prolotherapy and since I have started those I have not had a migraine.

What they offer, and where the evidence stands

This is the same wording we use on every clinic page. It describes the treatment, not this clinic's version of it.

TreatmentRegulatory and evidence status
Stem CellsEvidence is early and condition-specific. Ask any provider to point you to studies for your exact situation, not to general claims.

Ask before you book

A clinic that answers these clearly is a different proposition from one that deflects. Take the list with you.

  1. 1Which specific product do you use, and is it my own tissue or a purchased donor product?
  2. 2Is it being used as a 361 HCT/P, or under an FDA investigational new drug application?
  3. 3Who performs the injection: the physician of record, or a PA or nurse practitioner?
  4. 4What is the total cost, and what happens if a second treatment is needed?
  5. 5What outcome data do you keep on your own patients for my specific condition?
  6. 6How many of these have you done for this indication, and what does a poor result look like?

What it is likely to cost

Dr. Carl E. Osborn, DO has not published pricing, which is true of almost every clinic in this category. Insurance almost never covers the injection itself, though the consultation, imaging and any conventional treatment in the same visit often are covered.

Ask for the total in writing, including whether a second injection is billed separately, and ask for the CPT codes so you can check coverage yourself before you commit.
