Dr.Turok is a wonderful Dr. I have been a patient of his for several years. I would never go to anyone else for my spinal & pain issues. I trust him implicitly. Everyone of his staff members are always so kind, helpful & friendly.

Staff and scheduling

Igor and his staff are amazing! They treat you like family. The facility is clean and organized. Would recommend anyone to them. I give them 10 stars. Special shout out to the lovely Zena!

Reported improvement

During my visit Doctor Turok and his team were the most professional and helpful in any way possible. I would recommend them to anybody who is looking to stop pain and improve quality of life!

Doctor explained things

I reached out as an emergency after my stroke at Yale and Dr. Turok was able to fit me in immediately to deal with spinal and hip pain due to being stuck in the hospital for too long.

Ask before you book

A clinic that answers these clearly is a different proposition from one that deflects. Take the list with you.

  1. 1Which specific product do you use, and is it my own tissue or a purchased donor product?
  2. 2Is it being used as a 361 HCT/P, or under an FDA investigational new drug application?
  3. 3Who performs the injection: the physician of record, or a PA or nurse practitioner?
  4. 4What is the total cost, and what happens if a second treatment is needed?
  5. 5What outcome data do you keep on your own patients for my specific condition?
  6. 6How many of these have you done for this indication, and what does a poor result look like?

What it is likely to cost

Connecticut Pain Solutions has not published pricing, which is true of almost every clinic in this category. Insurance almost never covers the injection itself, though the consultation, imaging and any conventional treatment in the same visit often are covered.

Ask for the total in writing, including whether a second injection is billed separately, and ask for the CPT codes so you can check coverage yourself before you commit.
