My husband has suffered from neuropathy for years and this year he started to be in almost constant pain. We had previously explored all options that we knew about and was told that there is really nothing you can do for neuropathy.

Reported improvement

Love his books and work and was so thankful to do a telehealth call. Told me things no one else has ever said and I am feeling better already after a few days following his advice and feeling hopeful about options!

Doctor explained things

As a former patient of Dr Jacoby from many years ago, I am grateful that I have been able to see him again for something different. He is extremely thorough, detailed and explains everything and answers all questions.

Staff and scheduling

Dr. Jacoby was great and treated my issue super well. My problem is the scheduling. He asked to see me again in a week. I went to my follow up appointment. Myself and another patient were waiting. No one was there.

Ask before you book

A clinic that answers these clearly is a different proposition from one that deflects. Take the list with you.

  1. 1Which specific product do you use, and is it my own tissue or a purchased donor product?
  2. 2Is it being used as a 361 HCT/P, or under an FDA investigational new drug application?
  3. 3Who performs the injection: the physician of record, or a PA or nurse practitioner?
  4. 4What is the total cost, and what happens if a second treatment is needed?
  5. 5What outcome data do you keep on your own patients for my specific condition?
  6. 6How many of these have you done for this indication, and what does a poor result look like?

What it is likely to cost

Extremity Health Centers has not published pricing, which is true of almost every clinic in this category. Insurance almost never covers the injection itself, though the consultation, imaging and any conventional treatment in the same visit often are covered.

Ask for the total in writing, including whether a second injection is billed separately, and ask for the CPT codes so you can check coverage yourself before you commit.

Questions about Extremity Health Centers

Does Extremity Health Centers offer stem cell therapy?
Our record for Extremity Health Centers lists no confirmed regenerative treatments, not stem cell therapy. Treatment lists change, so confirm directly with the clinic.
How is Extremity Health Centers rated?
4.8 out of 5 on Google from 100 reviews. That rating is Google's, not ours. We read 8 of those reviews and coded what they describe; the breakdown is on this page.
Has RegenSage verified Extremity Health Centers?
Address, phone and services are current. Credentials have not been reviewed. No clinic can pay for a verification state, and paying for a listing does not change one.
